Quite an ambitious work, a tribute to George Enesco’s 3^rd Sonata in the Romanian popular character. The 1^st movement is a very poetic and sophisticated picture of a Romanian landscape, the 2^nd movement is a huge Chacone, with a virtuoso finale.
